Meet the Partners
Mark, or “MJ” as many friends call him is more than just the head of our company. He is the driving force making sure that every service Sendekem offers is best-in-class and exceeds the expectations of our clients.
As a Navy SEAL with a career spanning three decades of service, MJ excelled in situations where the lives of his team and hundreds of support personnel were dependent on mission success. He brings a hard-to-find level of experience to assessments and security projects.
As a Retired Senior Police Detective he worked important assignments such as High-Risk Warrants, Community Policing, Special Tactics Detail, Organized Crime, Counter Terrorism, and others, MJ is passionate about serving and protecting people and businesses.
As the founder of Sendekem, he is dedicated to building strong teams of experienced leaders and experts. A proud Navy veteran, MJ looks for ways to give back by volunteering with charities that support veterans. When he’s not hard at work, MJ enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.

As a senior partner in Sendekem, Kirk serves as a Senior Vice President and Creative Director for the company ensuring all printed and digital material produced by Sendekem is properly formatted and forward thinking.
From his early days of surfing and creating “Psychedelic” lithograph posters for well-known sixties and seventies rock bands in San Francisco. Kirk has taught art at several leading colleges. He is a recognized artistic force in the Bay Area. In addition to the many accolades Kirk has received from large companies like Wells Fargo for his creative work, he has also created dozens of successful campaigns for businesses and organizations.
A proud veteran of the U.S. Army Airborne, Kirk is passionate about personal freedom, equality, and inclusion. He enjoys mid-century antique restoration, great art, and time with his family and close-knit group of friends.

Yvonne has been a senior partner with the firm since 2018 and comes to Sendekem with a background in International Business Banking, Corporate Banking and Finance. Her experience working for international banks such as Standard Chartered Bank (UK) as well as OCBC Bank (Singapore) has provided her with invaluable experience on a global scale.
Yvonne serves as the company Treasurer and Senior Vice President overseeing the company’s Administrative and Finance operations. Yvonne is also instrumental in select Sendekem investigations, and operations such as Travel Security Program.
Born in Penang, Malaysia now living in Dallas, Texas, Yvonne volunteers and supports charities such as the SPCA of Texas and organizations focused on promoting Asian Women in Business.
A polyglot, and world traveler, she enjoys art, shopping, cooking, and time with her family including her three rescue dogs (Dharma, Hudson and Scully).

Matthew Budds a seasoned detective, investigator, and partner in our firm, serves as Senior Vice President. Matt is involved with Sendekem Investigative programs such as Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), Due Diligence, and Background Screening for Important Personnel (BSIP). Matt contributes to our investigative teams to approach each Sendekem Investigative Service with the same sense of caring, diligence, and confidentiality. As a police detective, he worked in the most disadvantaged areas of Los Angeles and Orange Counties (CA). A recognized expert in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), he was instrumental in the development of numerous municipal venues for cities such as Anaheim, California.
Matt is also passionate about writing and producing family friendly content. As a husband, father and man of faith, Matt enjoys bringing positive and inspiring stories to life through film.
